Havlicek Gymasium

John J. Havlicek Gymasium

The John J. Havlicek gymnasium was dedicated on January 6th, 2007 in front of a sellout crowd of over 900 people. Havlicek was presented with many gifts and his original jersey he wore in high school. The Gymnasium is state-of-the-art with four locker rooms, two for the varsity basketball team and two for the gym classes. The gym has a capacity for 1,000 people or more. The gym floor is dedicated to legendary basketball coach, athletic director, and teacher Frank Baxter. The gym also has two state of the art scoreboards one that keeps players stats during the game for better fan experience. The John J. Havlicek gymnasium is sure to hold many special sporting events.

From the South

  • Head North on Ohio Route 7
  • Take Ramp toward I-70/US-40/Bridgeport/US-250/Wheeling
  • At traffic light make right unto South Lincoln Avenue
  • At next traffic light make left unto US-40
  • Continue Straight for 2.2 miles
  • School will be on your right
  • At the traffic light just past the school make a right

From The East

  • Take I-70 West
  • Take Bridgeport Exit
  • From the Ramp make right onto Marion Street
  • At next traffic light make left
  • Continue Straight for 1.9 miles
  • School will be on your right
  • At the traffic light just past the school make a right

From the West

  • Take I-70 East
  • Take CO RD 214 exit
  • Turn left unto Bellaire/High Ridge Road/Cr-214
  • Make right unto US-40
  • Continue straight for 3.6 miles
  • At traffic light take left school will be in front of you to your right
