Another successful Alumni weekend is in the books! Events were held the weekend of June 28th & 29th
Festivities began with the 11th annual Alumni Social, which was held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the St. Clairsville Rec Center. Around 175 Alumni and guests attended the social. Alumni Association provided Pizza, light snacks, pop & water, and the event was BYOB. A Chinese auction & 50/50 were held, and all who made a $5 donation at the door were eligible for a door prize. 2 gift cards were awarded as door prizes. Bulldog Alum DJ Bill Talik was on hand playing everyone's favorite music. 2024 Alumni King and Queen were King Fritz Caruth, class of 1964, and Queen Dee Polomik Dulesky, class of 1984. A great time was had by all in attendance!
The weekend concluded as the Bridgeport Alumni Association marked nearly a century and a half of tradition and success with the 140th annual banquet June 29. The class of 1974 celebrated their 50th anniversary and the classes 1959, 1969, 1979, 1989, and 1994 celebrated their reunions as part of the banquet as well. Around 170 Alumni and guests attended the banquet. Class photos were taken at 5:30 p.m. Dinner was served at 6 p.m. Two honorees were also inducted into the Bridgeport Alumni Association. Fred Koss Sr. of the class of 1932 and William Charles Coulson of the class of 1980. 3 members of the graduating class of 2024 received Scholarships - Katelyn Hunt, A.J. Gear and Brody Puskas. Dick Taylor of the Class of 1972 Committee also announced the new Friends of Susie Young Scholarship, which was awarded to Campbell Kropka, class of 2024.
Alumni weekend 2025 will be held in late June. Exact dates will be announced soon. Start making plans to attend now. Classes ending in 5 or 0, this is your classes anniversary years. Consider planning your respective reunions as part of the Annual Alumni Weekend. Go Dogs!
